Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour
Schedule: Must be available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
Overtime: Must be available for periods of heavy overtime
As Quality Inspector you’ll play a critical role in maintaining quality throughout aerospace production and assembly operations. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will help ensure parts, processes, and assemblies meet established requirements before moving forward in production.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Use and interpret engineering drawings, inspection manuals, specifications, and shop mathematics.
Operate precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools, and equipment necessary to complete inspection assignments.
Follow established inspection and shop procedures to accept or reject processes, parts, and assemblies.
Verify that tools and equipment are properly qualified.
Prepare, maintain, and accurately document required quality records.
Apply Quality Management System policies and procedures throughout inspection activities.
Write and process NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports/Tags) as required.
Maintain all required certifications throughout the assignment.
Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Utilize computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
5 years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP
Experience writing NCRs (Tags)
Knowledge of aerospace production and inspection processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to report to work promptly and consistently
Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain them throughout the assignment
Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
Availability to work periods of heavy overtime

Pay Details: $50.00 per hour
