Job Summary

Monitor and verify quality in accordance with specifications, statistical process, or other control procedures. Perform measurements and physical quality comparisons to predefined dimensions and specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of received, in-process, and finished components, subassemblies, and products.
• Assist in completing inspections to verify product quality meets customer specifications.
• Provide quality and conformance information to manufacturing teams.
• Support investigations of process-related quality issues with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.
• Work with production to resolve quality issues and ensure documentation is complete.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, equipment maintenance logs, calibration logs, and non-conforming material reports.
• Assist in completing GR&R studies, capability studies, and other inspection reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience in the plastics industry, clean room, or medical device assembly.
• Knowledge of inspection methods and equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQC certification preferred.
• Experience with inspection equipment like CMM, Vision System, and hand tools.
• Knowledge of ISO, FDA, GMP, and OSHA standards.

ADA Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, and moving.
• Occasional repetitive motions and grasping.
• Climbing to reach areas on machines or racks.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally and more frequently <20 lbs.
• Sitting and keyboarding for computer operation.
• Exposure to typical machine shop hazards requiring respiratory protection.
