Trillium Staffing in Savannah, GA is seeking a dependable Quality Inspector for a growing automotive parts distributor. The role offers $18/hour with a steady day shift (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and occasional overtime.

It is a temp-to-hire opportunity where you will inspect and prepare parts for shipment, ensuring quality across inventory. You will handle parts up to 50 pounds, wear PPE as needed, and assist with loading using forklift equipment while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills, including email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our operations team. In this role, you will inspect, clean, and prepare automotive parts for shipment while ensuring products meet established quality and inventory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare automotive parts for shipment, including buffing smaller components, pressure washing drivetrain components, and cleaning body panels with soap and water.
• Inspect parts for condition, accuracy, and overall quality, comparing products against inventory descriptions and established standards.
• Identify discrepancies in product condition or inventory information and communicate issues to the appropriate sales or operations personnel by phone or email.
• Safely package smaller components using protective materials and cardboard boxes.
• Properly protect and prepare larger parts, including bumpers and doors, for transportation and storage.
• Organize body panels and smaller components on designated racks for shipment.
• Assist with loading trailers using a forklift or other approved material-handling equipment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
