Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. in Newton, IA is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to visually and measurably inspect materials and finished products. You will complete inspection records, report results, and ensure conformance with standards and regulations.

You will work in a manufacturing environment, inspecting various materials and welds, and maintaining accurate documentation while upholding safety and attendance requirements.

Formación

• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiently utilize inspection tools and measuring equipment.
• Understand defects and determine acceptance status.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Read, write and speak proficiently in English.
• Desire to learn; team player.

Responsabilidades

Arcosa Wind Towers is searching for a Quality Assurance Inspector. As a Quality Inspector you will provide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements. You’ll also complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.

What you’ll do:

Working Conditions:

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.


• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays


• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
