Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Quality Inspector on 1st shift (5:00 AM–3:00 PM, Mon–Thu, 4/10-hour shifts). The role involves performing quality inspections and audits on incoming materials, using hand gaging and visual checks to ensure conformance.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a quality-related position, strong English communication, and the ability to use basic hand tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a quality-related position.
• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and audits on incoming material using hand gauges and visual checks to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Identify non-conforming parts and coordinate containment.
• Rectify non-conforming material via rework, sorting or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
• Determine tools and equipment needed to complete inspection tasks.
• Communicate inspection results to managers, supervisors and production.

Job description

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector in Menomonee Falls, WI. Pay for this role is $24hr and it is a 1st shift. (5:00AM-3:00PM/Monday-Thursday (4 /10 hour shifts)

Quality Inspector Responsibilities

(To include but not limited to the following)

Client Relationship & Business Development

• The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.

Operations

• The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.
• Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
• Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
• Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
• Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.

Organization & Management

• Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.

Technical

• MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
