Job summary

HI-LEX, a leading automotive supplier, is seeking a Quality Inspector in Michigan. You will perform inspections on components and assemblies to ensure conformance to customer specifications and internal quality standards.

You will use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools, review inspection documents, and communicate nonconformities to the Quality team. Strong data reporting and Excel skills are essential for monthly and weekly metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in quality inspection preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on components and assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Use measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, torque wrench) to verify dimensions.
• Document nonconformities and communicate findings to QA and production teams.
• Provide data and charts for weekly/monthly quality reports.
