Responsibilities

• Visually or physically inspect parts to meet customer specs and record results.

• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
• Measure products with rulers, calipers, or gauges.
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
• Accept or reject finished items and remove nonconforming products.
• Report inspection and test data such as weights and temperatures.

Work Environment:

• Work environments vary by industry and establishment size; some inspectors examine similar products for an entire shift, while others examine a variety of items.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 30 lbs. for the entire duration of your shift.
• Safety vest and other required PPE are required to be worn throughout the shift.

LOCATION: Lansing, MI

SHIFTS:

• 1ST SHIFT: 6:30 AM -2:30 PM (or end of Production) Monday-Saturday $16.50 per hour.
• 2nd SHIFT:2:30 PM -10: 30 PM (or end of Production) Monday-Saturday $16.50 per hour.
• Paid biweekly.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL SHIFT.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Requirements:

Quality Control Inspectors typically do the following:

• Visually or physically inspect parts to see if they meet customer specifications and record the information.
• Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
• Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
• Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
• Accept or reject finished items.
• Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
• Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.
