Position Purpose
The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections and testing against product/part engineering requirements and/or customer specifications/procedures to ensure quality manufactured parts.

Candidates must be a "US Person" (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, bend at the waist, reach below and above shoulder level, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push under 25 pounds, climb stairs, balance, kneel, pull, and use fine motor skills such as grasping, handling, finger dexterity, feeling, and eye-hand or eye-hand-foot coordination. The role also requires frequent ordinary hearing, near and far visual acuity, depth perception, and keyboarding to support administrative and quality-related tasks. Requirements such as lifting or carrying over 50 pounds, pushing 25 pounds or more, climbing ladders, crawling, turning or twisting, color perception, and other physical demands are not applicable unless otherwise directed.
