Job summary

Precious Plate is seeking a diligent Quality Inspector to perform visual inspections and disposition of finished goods in accordance with customer requirements and ISO regulations. This full-time role operates 2pm-10pm, with shifts available 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday, reporting to the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include final product release, inspection of strip stock, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to identify and communicate quality problems to supervisor.
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Manual dexterity for job functions.
• Computer knowledge.
• Positive interpersonal skills; lead by example and make decisions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good attendance.
• Able to lift 35 lbs.

Job description

The OpportunityPrecious Plate is hiring a Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for visual inspections and disposition of finished goods in accordance with customer requirements and ISO regulations. This is a full-time position, working 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday, reporting to the Quality Manager.

There are two shifts available for this position: 1st Shift working 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday OR 2nd Shift working 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Final product release perform final inspection of strip stock products from the plating line
• Obey all safety rules and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions
• Ability to identify and communicate quality problems to supervisor
• Math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to work independently and perform cooperatively with others
• Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions
• Computer knowledge
• Positive interpersonal skills, can lead by example and has the ability and willingness to make decisions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must exhibit consistently proper attendance
• Must be able to lift 35lbs

Working Conditions

• Environment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperature
• Safety glasses, steel or composite toe boots, and hearing protection required
• Other PPE may be required depending on responsibilities
• Could be exposed to background noise, odors, or dust
