Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Ohio is seeking a manufacturing quality inspector to ensure conformance to blueprints and inspect hardware with precision tools. You will review documentation and work orders, and verify material certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training.
• Extensive experience in calibration and standards.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product conformity to blueprint.
• Inspect hardware using calipers, micrometers and other equipment to verify conformity.
• Review work orders for completion of operations and required documentation.
• Review ERP (JD Edwards) for required retained information.
• Review raw material certificates for conformity to standards.
• Provide manufacturing technical support as GD&T subject matter expert.
• Support Quality Engineers to ensure products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
• Interface with internal departments to engage in activities that ensure continuous control over material, services and products.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Review work order for completion of operations and required documentations
• Review ERP (JD Edwards) system for required retained information
• Review raw material certificates and ensure conformity to industry or internal standards
• Provide manufacturing technical support as GD&T subject matter expert
• Support the Quality Engineers to ensure products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
• Interface with internal departments to engage in activities that ensure continuous control over material, services and products.
• Other duties as assigned.
