Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform visual and measured inspections of structural components, ensuring conformance with standards. You will verify dimensions, strengths, and other quality factors using precision tools on a manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, documenting inspection records, and maintaining safety and equipment standards in a busy plant environment. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience preferred.
  • Must be able to operate measurement tools and inspection equipment.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment.

Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for a Quality Inspector. As a Quality Inspector, you’ll perform all duties of an "A" level inspector. Makes visual and measured inspection of structural components to ensure conformance with standards. Verifies specified dimensions, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Complies with all safety rules and procedures. Maintains and completes all required records.

What you’ll do:

  • Read drawings and blueprints
  • Perform and oversee visual and measured inspections using various measurement instruments and inspection equipment
  • Perform and oversee visual weld inspection
  • Complete inspection records and reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • Must be able to operate the following equipment: micrometer, gauges, calipers, tape lines, computer
  • 2 or 3 years of experience preferred
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • Ability to function as a team member
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships

Working Conditions:

  • Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds
  • This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
  • Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
  • Overtime and Overtime on Saturdays, as needed
  • Schedule is subject to change
