Job summary

Vibe Recruit seeks an experienced Quality Inspector to own quality control from incoming materials through to final delivery. You will perform dimensional inspection, manage NCRs, and drive corrective and preventive actions in an ISO 9001 environment.

Liaising with customers and suppliers, you will contribute to a culture of quality and a path toward Quality Management leadership. You will conduct in-process inspection, maintain calibration of metrology gauges, and support KPI reporting while

Qualifications

• Experience with CMM inspection in manufacturing.
• Familiar with CNC machining in an inspection role.
• Experience in ISO 9001 environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork to improve quality culture.

Responsibilities

• In-Process inspection during manufacture.
• Maintain, calibrate metrology gauges to ISO 9001.
• Oversee goods in/out inspection.
• Raise and investigate NCRs with corrective/preventive actions.
• Present KPI statistics monthly.

Job description

Quality Inspector

A great opportunity is now available for an experienced Inspector of precision engineered/machined components.

You will take ownership of quality control from incoming materials through to final delivery - dimensional inspection, NCR management, corrective/preventive actions and ISO 9001 compliance.

You'll liaise directly with customers and suppliers.

This role will provide a path to progress into a full Quality Management role.

The key responsibilities include:

• In-Process inspection (During Manufacture)


• Use of Programmable and Manual CMM inspection


• Upkeep, Maintenance and calibration of Metrology gauges and equipment to ISO 9001


• Overseeing goods in/out inspection
  
• Raising and investigating NCRs with implementation of corrective/preventive measures


• Presentation of KPI statistics for monthly review


• Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation

Key skills and experience:

• Previous CMM inspection experience


• A knowledge and experience of CNC Machining with an 'Inspection' background.


• You will be fully familiar with, and have experience of working within an ISO 9001 environment.


• Good communication skills with the ability to speak with customers and suppliers, when required.


• You will be able to work well in a team environment and have the necessary 'people skills' to develop and improve the quality culture of the business, having confidence and a discerning judgment on when to raise issues, improvements.
