Quest Global in Irving, TX, is seeking an experienced metrology-focused QA professional to oversee dimensional inspection programs in aerospace manufacturing. You will lead inspections, interpret GD&T, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 standards while coordinating with Quality Engineers and customers.

The role requires 2+ years in regulated environments, hands-on use of Keyence and ZEISS metrology tools, and familiarity with PC-DMIS/PolyWorks.

Qualificações

• Two+ years of dimensional inspection experience in regulated manufacturing or aerospace.
• Hands-on experience with advanced metrology systems: Keyence XM-5000, ZEISS ScanBox, blue-light scanners.
• Strong GD&T reading, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with PC-DMIS or PolyWorks for CMM reporting.
• US citizenship required due to ITAR.

Responsabilidades

• Own and manage the quality, schedule, and budget of multiple technical projects.
• Maintain confidence of current and new customers.
• Identify resource gaps with leadership and assign resources for improvement.
• Review project health, risks, and escalated issues with leadership.
• Review SOWs and assist with quotations.
• Hold team accountable for delivery schedule and quality.
• Follow QuEST PM standards, weekly status reviews, and health reviews.
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace parts.
• Operate 3D metrology and scanning tools (Keyence, ZEISS, etc.).
• Use calipers, micrometers, height/depth gauges, and pin gauges.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, and quality documentation for compliance.
• Document results per AS9100/ISO 9001 and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Planners, and Customer Representatives to resolve discrepancies.
• Follow EHS policies and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist team members in training equipment; lunch and learns.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and be responsible for the quality, schedule, and budget of multiple technical projects
• Leverage your ability to generate and maintain the confidence of current and new customers.
• Work with the leadership team to identify resource capability gaps, assign resources, and look for opportunities for improvement across the engineering program.
• Meet regularly with leadership to review project health, project risks, and escalatе issues.
• Be involved with reviewing statements of work (SOWs) supplied by customers, and assist with generating project quotations
• Need to be comfortable holding team members accountable for hitting delivery schedule and quality requirements.
• Need to comply with QuEST project management standards and best practices, including weekly status reporting and tracked project health reviews
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies
• Operate 3D metrology and scanning tools, including Keyence, ZEISS, and other blue-light systems
• Use handheld inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height/depth gauges, and pin gauges
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality documentation to ensure compliance
• Document results in accordance with AS9100/ISO 9001 standards and internal procedures
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Planners, and Customer Representatives to resolve discrepancies
• Follow EHS policies and maintain a safe, organized work area
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective action implementation as needed
• Assist team members in training of equipment and growing their knowledge base, this includes lunch and learns and individual skill development

Work Experience

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Manufacturing Production and Operations, or relevant working experience within a manufacturing facility

2+ years of experience in dimensional inspection in a regulated manufacturing or aerospace environment:

• Hands-on experience with advanced metrology systems such as:
• Keyence XM-5000, VR/VL Series
• ZEISS ScanBox or other CMM systems
• Blue-light 3D scanners or structured-light metrology tools
• Working knowledge of GD&T, inspection reports, and quality documentation
• Familiarity with CMM/DCC software such as PC-DMIS or PolyWorks
• Strong attention to detail, ability to read engineering drawings and work independently/with a team
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Experience with managing a team of employees
• U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR regulations

This is an onsite role in Irving, TX.
