Job summary

Delta Technologies is seeking an experienced Quality Inspection Specialist to perform scanning tasks, conformance checks, using metrology techniques and Laser 3D Scanning equipment and software. The role requires interpreting blueprints and CAD models, understanding GD&T, and basic metrology methods in a manufacturing environment.

You will maintain quality systems, ensure 5S compliance, participate in cross-functional teams, and inspect injection mold components.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret blueprints, CAD models, surface geometry, and wireframe.
• Understand GD&T symbols and functions.
• Basic metrology techniques (using instruments).
• Verisurf or other electronic software experience for receiving and processing part information.
• Laser scanning of any brand hardware (API, Faro, Romer, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of Injection Molds and Injection Mold Components.
• Basic knowledge of Machining, EDM, and Mold Assembly.
• Oral, written and communication skills.
• Customer liaison skills.
• Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Dimensional conformance for Injection Mold layouts and various special requests.
• Oversee maintenance and calibration of all quality equipment and gages.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance system.
• Assure the workspace is 5S compliant.
• Participate in cross-functional teams.
• Report any non-conforming items identified.
• Environmental Responsibilities- Cooperation with action team directives.
• Scanning and verifying all assigned Injection Molds and Injection Mold Components.
• Reverse Engineering abilities for direct and indirect projects.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Must comply with all Delta Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Operation of Overhead Crane and Motorized Lift Trucks to handle and move workpieces.
• All other duties as assigned.
