Job summary

CANPACK Group in Olyphant, PA seeks a Quality Manager to lead the QA department, ensuring food safety and quality across raw materials, production, and finished products. You will address BRCGS deviations, train personnel, and drive improvements to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of QA leadership in manufacturing, preferably with metal packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing QA leadership experience.
• Experience in metal packaging production (2-piece cans) preferred.
• Proven knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, GMPs, and ISO.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of professional reports and presentations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, verify and validate QA processes for materials, production and finished goods to ensure regulatory and customer compliance.
• Address BRCGS deviations promptly and train production personnel.
• Provide products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Mentor, monitor and lead the QA team to achieve safety and quality goals.
• Drive plant improvements and proactive solutions for operations.
• Perform annual reassessment of food safety programs and self inspections.
• Maintain effective communications with Sales, R&D, Marketing, Distribution and Operations.
• Monitor regulatory updates and CCPs; report quality metrics to management.
