Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a Site Food Safety and Quality Leader to oversee HACCP and food safety programs, ensuring 21 CFR 117 and GFSI compliance. You will lead a quality team, manage internal audits, CAPA processes, and employee training to uphold Balchem's standards.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge and cross-functional communication. The position emphasizes data-driven decision making, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.
• Experience supervising teams in quality or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead HACCP/Food Safety program and site quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with 21 CFR 117 and applicable GFSI codes.
• Direct internal audits, train auditors to meet SQF and regulatory guidance.
• Manage training programs for GMP, HACCP, allergens and Food Defense.
• Coordinate testing accuracy, CAPA, and investigation of non-conformances.
• Present KPI data and drive data-driven improvements with leadership.
