Job summary

Quality Tech Services, LLC (QTS) in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Quality Engineering Technician to support manufacturing quality programs. You will assist Quality Engineers with QA activities, problem solving, CAPA, and measurement methodologies.

The role involves developing quality processes, PFMEA, control plans, Gage R&R, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation, inspection methods, fixturing, and calibration management within a medical device context.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Intermediate blueprint reading, GD&T and SPC knowledge.
  • Ability to operate a variety of inspection equipment.
  • Design software- Minitab.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Desirable: 5 years of experience in machining or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.

Responsibilities

Quality Engineering Technician Ideal Candidate Profile

QTS is currently seeking an energetic, responsive and well-organized full time Quality Engineering Technician. This position will be responsible for assisting Quality Engineers in providing quality assurance support for manufacturing, improving quality related practices and procedures, problem solving, and providing technical guidance and measurement methodologies.

  • Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Desirable Criteria & Qualifications

Pay Range

USD $23.08 – USD $33.46 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.

20 hours:
