Scope

Position is responsible for overseeing and managing the Quality Engineering department.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supervise Quality Engineering team to ensure TTM is meeting internal and external customer expectations and requirements.
  • Support RCCA activity, customer visits and audits as necessary.
  • Help develop and drive quality and process improvements.
  • Work closely with QA Manager to ensure deadlines are met and progress is being made on open projects/SCARs.
  • Ensure Quality Engineers are meeting daily objectives (i.e. Processing orders, AMCNs, dispositioning DMRs, 6S etc.).
  • Interact with customers, suppliers, and other members of management team on quality issues.
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001:2000 and AS9100A. Active member of the QMS and EHS internal audit team.
  • Aid in training Quality Engineers and others in department specific work procedures.
  • Coordinate defect escape prevention activities with QC and Production Manager for all production and inspection departments, including Q-RAIL activity.

Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to pass eye exam with a minimum of 20/20 vision that may be corrected via eyeglasses or contact lenses as required. Eye exam in required annually.
  • Experience with, and a demonstrated understanding of Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills, including statistical data analysis and interpretation, as well as the ability to develop, implement, and drive improvement plans and project teams to successful completion.
  • Strong background in the use and understanding of key manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Strong communication, planning, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Good English skills and ability to read, write and communicate clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience
  • 4 year degree in Quality/Technical field and 6+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing, engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California‑based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
