Your Role

As our next Quality Engineering Supervisor, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our organization’s success. This isn’t just a job – it’s a career move where you’ll thrive, learn, and enjoy coming to work.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership
    • Supervise the Quality Technicians and/or Quality Inspectors within their Business Unit, providing day-to-day work instructions.
    • Develop and coach Quality Technicians and/or Quality Inspectors.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Diagnose quality issues and work cross-functionally to resolve them.
    • Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Support Operational Excellence projects as they relate to the Quality department.
  • Production Support
    • Own all manufacturing non-conformances, dispositions, and non-conformance communication to cross-functional groups within the Business Unit.
    • Support efforts to resolve in-line quality and production issues.
    • Manage non-conformance process for production, including reviews and trending non-conformance reporting.
    • Aid in equipment qualification and process validation.
    • Oversee environmental monitoring for the applicable clean room to their assigned Business Unit.
  • Business Support
    • Assist in developing and implementing quality engineering procedures.
    • Operate within CPC Quality System.
    • Keep current in the field with internal and external education and training.
    • Adhere to and are knowledgeable about all safety regulations.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned
Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of experience working as a quality professional.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of basic statistical techniques (e.g., process capability, SPC, hypothesis testing).
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Access, and other analytics tools.
  • Self-driven, adaptable and resourceful; able to work under limited supervision.
  • Experience working in a clean room environment is ideal.
  • Certified Quality Engineer through ASQ (CQE, CRE, etc.) is ideal.
  • This role may require 5% travel, domestically. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.
