Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Commerce, CA seeks a Quality Engineer Manager – Level 1 to lead a quality team and ensure robust inspection, testing and process control, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to uphold ISO 9001/AS9100.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years (or a Master’s with 3+ years), strong leadership, and experience with NDT/weld inspection, Lean Six Sigma, and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience OR Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP) and government standards.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to communicate, manage and achieve site tactical and strategic goals for the value stream.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
