Job summary

Phillips-Medisize, a Molex company, seeks a Quality Engineer & Supervisor in Menomonie, WI to lead the quality team, drive continuous improvement, and assure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements in Metal Injection Molding operations.

The role combines technical quality expertise with team leadership to develop people, improve processes, and ensure products meet customer and business expectations. Expect collaboration across functions and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience leading projects, teams, or employees in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of working experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience applying quality systems and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., CAPA, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA) to identify and resolve manufacturing or quality issues.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Quality team members to ensure effective execution and growth.
• Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements throughout product realization.
• Serve as the quality resource for AQP activities, including interpretation of drawings, specifications, risk assessments, PFMEA, control plans, inspection methods, and FAI.
• Serve as primary quality contact for internal manufacturing quality concerns and escalation of issues.
• Lead investigations of nonconforming material and quality issues with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage daily quality operations including quality notifications, nonconforming material, change control, and escalation of risks.
