Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to join the Medical Business Unit in Plymouth, MN. The role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing processes for life-saving medical devices and maintaining SOPs to ensure regulatory and quality compliance.

You will learn problem-solving methods to identify root causes of nonconformances and assist in corrective actions within a global, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Have earned a high school diploma or GED
• Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
• Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
• Are authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a value stream team to develop and improve manufacturing processes
• Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and records for compliance to regulatory and quality management system standards
• Learn and utilize problem-solving methods to identify nonconformance root causes and robust corrective actions

BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
