Job summary

Boston Scientific Marlborough, MA is seeking a Quality Engineering Co‑op to gain hands‑on experience in Design Quality Assurance (DQA) and work with cross‑functional teams to support development and maintenance of medical devices.

You will apply quality engineering principles to meet regulatory requirements and contribute to compliant, high‑quality products while participating in a hybrid schedule requiring in‑office presence several days per week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering with expected graduation by May 2027.
• Previous Boston Scientific co‑op experience in the Quality department.
• Knowledge of data analysis and interpretation tools.
• Available to participate for the full duration of the co‑op program from Jan. 11 through Aug. 6 or Aug. 13 2027.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Reliable transportation to and from 300 Boston Scientific Way, Marlborough, MA 01752.

Responsibilities

• Support Design Quality Assurance activities throughout the product life cycle with cross‑functional teams.
• Assist with quality assurance implementations, design controls, process controls and CAPA systems.
• Contribute as a team member to quality decisions and practices.
• Apply systematic problem‑solving to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Support streamlined quality systems and documentation of quality decisions.
• Assist with design changes for commercialized products and verify activities.
• Analyze post‑market data to identify signals and improve product performance.
• Support investigations and corrective/preventive actions for continuous improvement.
• Update risk management files and related quality documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross‑functional partners to document quality decisions.
