Job summary

Astemo Ltd. in Indiana is seeking a quality professional to plan and direct activities related to quality improvement, systems development, and maintenance of quality standards for fuel injector manufacturing processes, materials, and products.

You will complete root cause analyses of internal production rejects and customer trouble reports, ensuring investigations are thorough and changes are controlled to serve customers' best interests.

Qualifications

• 4-year College Degree in Mechanical or other Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in injection molding, machining, automated and/or short cycle time assembly processes.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and quality systems development.

Responsibilities

• Support Production with Process Efficiency that includes COPQ.
• Support Customer Requests and Concerns.
• New Product and Line Startup Documentation Creation.
• Trouble Shooting and C/M Implementation.
• Audit Processes and Documentation.
• Prepare Presentation to all Levels of Management.
• Prepare Data Documentation of IPPAARs and M/P Change Points.
• Travel to Customers, Vendors and Mother Companies.
• Confirm Product Characteristics and Measurement Techniques Data.
• Other Duties as Assigned; Assist in emergencies.
