Job summary

MultiSource Mfg in Longmont, CO is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to support product and process quality, drive risk mitigation, and improve SPC and FMEA practices across the plant.

The role requires familiarity with regulated environments (FDA/ISO/AS9100), control plans, and data-driven problem solving. You will partner with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure durable quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with regulated environments (FDA, ISO, AS9100).
• Knowledge of SPC, GD&T, FMEA, DOE, Control Plans; IQ/OQ/PQ processes.
• Understanding of manufacturing and assembly methods and metrology.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional plans to drive a team approach.
• Serve as site liaison to customers regarding quality concerns.
• Submit waivers and deviations; manage corrective actions (CPA) using 8D or similar.
• Create and maintain process Control Plans and pfMEAs as needed.
• Develop inspection and sampling techniques; optimize processes for new/existing parts.
• Manage supplier actions and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Support creation and implementation of quality procedures and data metrics.
• Participate in projects to reduce scrap and rework and improve inspection procedures.
