Job summary

iCOMAT is seeking a Quality Engineer to own the QMS, write quality plans, run audits and manage supplier quality as the factory scales. You will turn production data into improvements, maintain records and ensure compliance with industry standards, delivering defect-free lightweight structures.

You will work with engineering, production and R&D to drive continuous quality improvements and support rapid growth across US/UK operations.

Qualifications

3+ years in Quality Engineering or related role
Working knowledge of QMS frameworks (ISO 9001, AS9100) and tools (FMEA, SPC)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with quality testing equipment, measurement tools and software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and high standards

Responsibilities

Build and run quality control: develop, implement and maintain procedures for parts meeting specs and regulatory standards.
Investigate root causes of product/process failures and drive corrective actions.
Lead quality improvements to reduce defects and increase production efficiency as we scale.
Maintain inspection, audit, test and corrective action records (FAIR, ISIR) and report findings to management.
Audit internal quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials meet standards and resolve issues.
Train production staff on quality standards and tools.
Collaborate with engineering, production and R&D to feed learnings into design and manufacturing.
Analyze defect rates and quality data to spot trends and drive continuous improvement.
