Responsibilities

  • Participates in the review of design, manufacturing and test docs to ensure contract quality requirements are met.
  • Reviews the program quality performance, providing analysis and corrective actions when needed.
  • Develops program-specific quality and test philosophies for compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Reviews customer/contractual documentation (including proposals) to identify and ensure requirements are met.
  • Interfaces with customers on quality concerns to improve responsiveness.
  • Establishes and maintains the program quality system plan and documentation.
  • Supports the prototype area to ensure the development of products with a quality system and documentation meeting customer requirements.
  • Disposes discrepant material to ensure quality and adherence to program requirements.
  • Performs program-specific tasks (F.A.I., PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, etc.) to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Creates and maintains a reporting system for program quality for internal and customer visibility.
