Job summary

Treske Precision Machining, Inc. in Sherwood, OR is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee QA, process control, and continuous improvement across precision CNC operations. You will define inspection plans, support PPAP, and drive RCCA with machinists and engineers in ITAR-controlled environment.

Ideal candidates have GD&T, RCCA, AS9102, and SPC experience, plus hands-on metrology with CMMs and Epicor ERP familiarity. This role offers on-site work with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years in quality engineering within precision CNC machining.
• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and blueprint interpretation.
• Experience with RCCA/8D/5-Why and PPAP readiness.
• Familiarity with CMM/metrology and Epicor ERP.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings/specs to identify critical characteristics and inspection plans.
• Develop and maintain control plans and work instructions.
• Collaborate with CNC programmers to resolve dimensional issues at the source.
• Own first article inspection and new part introduction quality deliverables.
• Lead RCCA investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare PPAP packages per contract requirements.
• Interface with customers on technical quality questions.
