Job summary

Boston Scientific Arden Hills, MN is seeking a Quality Engineer I for a defined-term 18-month assignment in the Post Market Complaint Investigation Site (CIS). You will partner with Design Assurance, R&D, Supplier Engineering and Manufacturing to investigate product performance and drive improvements that protect patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience in a relevant engineering, quality or scientific role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills supporting diverse audiences.
• Strong decision-making and negotiation skills in cross-functional settings.
• Experience managing multiple projects across cross-functional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ownership for product families within the Urology & Pelvic Health division by partnering with cross-functional teams to improve product investigations and reduce complaint rates.
• Collaborate with divisional partners to streamline complaint handling processes and improve product performance.
• Provide technical guidance to identify and resolve quality issues using engineering fundamentals and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Develop investigative test methods to determine the root cause of product complaints.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement streamlined, robust Complaint Investigation Site (CIS) processes while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across local and global Post Market organizations.
• Foster an inclusive workplace where all employees can contribute to their full potential in support of organizational objectives.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all documented quality processes and procedures.
