Job summary

Innovance, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop systems and documentation ensuring products meet contract quality requirements. You will participate in design, manufacturing, and test reviews, drive corrective actions, and establish program quality processes.

You will work with the prototype area and customers to ensure adherence to specifications and quality plans. Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree or equivalent quality experience, with strong GD&T knowledge, lean background,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related subject is desired.
• Associate degree with three years of quality experience in a manufacturing setting is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Participates in review of design, manufacturing, and test documentation to ensure program quality requirements are met.
• Reviews program quality performance and drives corrective actions.
• Develops program-specific quality and test philosophies to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Reviews customer or contractual documentation to identify and fulfill requirements.
• Interfaces with customers to address quality concerns and maintain responsiveness.
• Maintains the program quality system plan and documentation per requirements.
• Provides technical support to prototype areas to ensure quality systems and documentation.
• Disposes discrepant material to maintain quality and program adherence.
• Performs program-specific tasks (e.g., First Article Inspection, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC) as needed.
• Establishes and maintains a reporting system for program quality.
