Job summary

Carrier invites an engineering student to join the Metallurgy and Metrology team, assisting with daily documentation and quality initiatives. You will support the QMS, identify improvement areas, and participate in root cause analyses as part of process optimization.

The role provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing environments, opportunities to drive cost reduction, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Study performance data and develop engineering solutions to optimize processes.
• Assure product and process quality by designing tests and standards.
• Provide guidance to management and shop teams on quality improvements.
• Prepare product and process reports with trends.
• Assist with daily Metallurgy and Metrology documentation.
