Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Quality Engineer Lead to drive quality initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing setting. You will lead quality activities, maintain ISO 9001 compliance, and collaborate with production, engineering, customers, and suppliers on process improvements.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on floor presence with strong leadership to resolve issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure robust quality documentation across all processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, quality, manufacturing or related field.
• 5+ years quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and processes.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action skills.
• Experience with SPC, PFMEA, Gage R&R, MSA and data analysis.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering activities supporting manufacturing operations and customer requirements.
• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 QMS.
• Investigate quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead root cause analyses using 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D methodologies.
• Develop and maintain control plans, inspection procedures, and quality docs.
• Support manufacturing processes across heat treating, forging, machining, coating, and fabrication.
• Analyze scrap, defects, and process data to find improvements.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to reduce variation and improve capability.
• Lead or support internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
• Ensure traceability and proper calibration of measurement systems.
