Job summary

Innovate is seeking a certified Internal Auditor to join its Indiana manufacturing team. The role focuses on root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and leading audits under ISO 9001, with close collaboration to engineering during pilot runs to define new quality test procedures.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of quality engineering experience in a fast-paced setting, plus a Bachelor’s in a technical field and ISO 9001 auditing credentials. Strong measurement tool proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific discipline
• 3–5 years of hands-on Quality engineering experience in manufacturing
• Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
• Strong proficiency with precision measuring tools, blueprints, and data management systems (ERP/CRM/Excel)
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or LEAN training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Investigate root causes and lead troubleshooting across assembly lines.
• Support ISO 9001 internal and surveillance audits.
• Collaborate with engineering during pilot runs to define and document new quality test procedures.
• Apply SPC and lean tools to identify performance trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
