TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern for a 12-14 week program (May–August). You will help implement manufacturing process improvements across teams and contribute to design for manufacturability and cost reductions.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset. You will work with mentors, participate in cross-functional teams, and present progress to leadership.

The Quality Engineering Intern will work for 12-14 weeks (May to August) to help implement process improvements. The Quality Engineering Intern will collaborate across the organization on efforts involving design for manufacturability and cost savings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a team to implement manufacturing process improvements
• Collaborate with program mentors and champions to identify best methods for automating processes
• Utilize a structured engineering approach to deploy best practices for process control and to improve yields
• Initiate and/or update documentation of processes into work instructions
• Leads capital project efforts to resolve production capacity and technology capability issues
• Present multiple project updates to the local leadership team
• Limited travel required for workshops and trade shows

Essential Knowledge and Skills

• Requires ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Eagerness to learn quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong verbal, writing and presentation skills
• Ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams

Education and Experience

• Current college junior earning Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems or Industrial Engineering
• Programing experience is required.
• Experience in applying engineering concepts to solve problems.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
