Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Quality Engineer Intern to support the Engineering and Quality teams in Dassel, MN. The intern will participate from scope definition through implementation on quality-related projects and will work on-site 40 hours per week.

Duties include internal customer technical support, manufacturability input, and assisting with process and design improvements while complying with ISO and medical device requirements. Enrollment in a formal engineering program is required.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring devices.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team building skills to create effective working coworkers.
• Ability to follow through on commitments and holds team members accountable.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

Responsibilities

• Provide internal customer technical support.
• Part manufacturability technical support.
• Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements.
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.

• Partner with other business segments sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
