Job summary

Danfoss Drives in Loves Park, IL invites you to join as a Quality Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will work with experienced quality professionals on projects enhancing product quality and operational excellence on-site.

You will gain hands-on experience with defect analysis, RCPS, CAPA, PFMEA, and process improvements while supporting manufacturing operations and customer satisfaction. This internship fosters learning and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Understanding of quality management principles and an interest in manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
• Good organizational, project, and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with PFMEA/Control Plans or quality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze defect data and assist with non-conformance investigations to improve quality.
• Participate in RCPS and CAPA activities and implement sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to improve processes.
• Update PFMEAs, Control Plans, SOPs, and work instructions for accuracy and compliance.
• Work with Quality Engineers to understand processes and data-driven decisions.
