Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC in Ferdinand, IN is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Ferdinand Quality System, applying statistics to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. You will analyze data, solve problems, and provide candid feedback to improve quality.

Responsibilities include participating in Layered Process Audits, collaborating with group leaders and engineering, supporting customers, and leading Kaizen events while maintaining SOS documentation and reporting

Qualifications

• BS degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to apply and interpret statistical data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the Layered Process Audit to resolve problems.
• Interacts with Group Leaders, Team Leaders, and Engineering to resolve quality problems.
• Interacts with internal and external customers to resolve quality problems.
• Lead and/or participate in Kaizen improvement events.
• Generate, modify, and complete Standard Operating Sheets (SOS).
• Report out on projects using the A3 project management process / format
