Job summary

Medtronic in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Quality Engineer II to own quality and compliance of process development and manufacturing of implantable cardiac and neuromodulation devices at the Tempe Campus. This role partners with engineering and operations to support QA initiatives.

Candidates should have a bachelor's in engineering or science with 2+ years experience (or master's with less) and have experience in quality systems, DOE, CAPA and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree in Engineering, Science or technical field and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with minimum of 0 years relevant experience.
• Experience with quality processes and regulatory compliance is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOE, statistics, CAPA and change control is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and maintains quality standards and protocols for manufacturing processes.
• Ensures internal quality processes comply with governing standards and supports risk assessments.
• Collaborates with engineering and operations to sustain quality initiatives and continuous improvement.
