Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Marine team in Vonore, TN. The role focuses on supplier quality improvement, supports quality progress across manufacturing subsidiaries, and oversees new product development activities.

You will apply problem solving, quality assurance fundamentals, and quality planning tools to improve performance, reduce risks, and increase customer satisfaction. Travel up to 30-40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5 years' experience in manufacturing quality assurance, product quality assurance or manufacturing engineering.
• Marine, automotive, electronics, casting or molding industries preferred.
• Experience with Quality Standards (ISO9001:2015 or IATF16949) and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with problem solving and corrective actions.
• Experience with quality tools - quality planning, FMEA, inspection practices, data analysis, SPC.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Travel up to 30-40% to manufacturing sites and supplier visits.
