Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Quality Engineer II to strengthen our Manufacturing Quality Engineering team. You will develop and improve quality procedures, perform metrology inspections, and drive root-cause analysis to protect our Made in USA hand tools.

In this role you will partner with manufacturing and suppliers to reduce process variation, execute design reviews for new products, and lead continuous improvement projects using statistical methods and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in metal manufacturing and/or plastic injection molding.
• Strong statistical data analysis ability (Minitab).
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel <10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise procedures, system instructions, standards and work instructions.
• Perform process analysis to facilitate process improvement and cost reduction.
• Track process performance and provide feedback to engineering, manufacturing and management.
• Perform performance testing on production products.
• Maintain product conformance via metrology inspections.
• Work with suppliers on process improvement to reduce variation and increase control.
• Lead continuous improvement with data analysis and DOE studies.
• Participate in design reviews for new products and QC planning.
• Conduct quality system audits and action tracking.
