Job summary

Net2Source Inc. in Warsaw, IN is seeking a Quality Engineer II to assure products meet requirements through audits, inspections, and testing. This 12+ month assignment is 100% onsite with pay rate $35-$40/hr on W2.

You will interact with multiple functions, suppliers, and orthopedic industry standards; duties include creating procedures, action plans, data analysis, and ensuring supplier readiness. A CQE and engineering degree preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or equivalent with CQE certification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• CQE and medical device/orthopedic experience preferred

• Develops and implements corrective/preventative action plans.
• Collects and analyzes data for gauge and product evaluation.
• Identifies critical personnel, gauges, procedures, and materials needed for new products.

Job Title: Quality Engineer II

Location: Warsaw, IN 46580 (100% onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Pay rate: $35.00 - 40.00/hr on W2

Description:

Responsible for assuring products conform to established requirements and standards through appropriate audit, inspection, and test activities. Interacts with many different functional departments, suppliers, and experts outside Zimmer Biomet to implement Quality goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Formulates procedures, specifications, and standards for products and processes.
• Develops and implements corrective/preventative action plans.
• Collects and analyzes data for gauge and product evaluation.
• Identifies critical personnel, gauges, procedures, and materials needed for the completion of new products.
• Ensures that suppliers have necessary information and facilities to deliver quality products to Zimmer Biomet.

• Ability to work within a team environment and build relationships outside of the department as well as outside the company (suppliers, regulatory agencies, etc.).
• Ability to deliver, meet deadlines and have results orientation.
• Able to communicate both orally and in written form to multiple levels of the company.
• Demonstrates characteristics of high potential for future development opportunities.
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, thorough understanding of QSR/ISO regulations, design assurance, FMEA, and product testing methods, and are able to use optical comparators and CMMs.

Education:

• B.S. in engineering or an alternative Bachelor’s degree program with certification as a quality engineer (e.g. CQE).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Medical device, particularly Orthopedic industry, experience preferred

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with typical business hours. Occasional remote work may be allowed.
