Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Engineer II for an aerospace-focused role in the Renton, WA area. You will improve product quality, increase process efficiency, and reduce operating costs by minimizing variation in manufacturing inputs.

The position requires PFMEA/MSA experience, data-driven problem solving, and collaboration across audits and corrective actions to sustain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in Aerospace.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (data analysis, control charts, pivot tables).
• Data-driven problem solving with root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of intermediate manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, and measurement methods.
• Experience with composite materials.
• Experience with PFMEA and MSA tools and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Improve product quality and process efficiency while reducing cost via reduced input variation.
• Lead PFMEA/MSA activities and internal process audits; drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and production to ensure quality across the value stream.

A well-known Aerospace company in the Renton, WA area is looking to add a Quality Engineer II to their growing team! A successful candidate in the role will be responsible for improving product quality, increasing process efficiency, and reducing operating costs by reducing variation in the inputs to manufacturing. Additionally, you will ensure customer satisfaction by improving products and processes through failure mode effects analysis, as well as participate in internal process audits and being a focal for both internal and external corrective actions. Skills and Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in Aerospace
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (data analysis, control charts, pivot tables etc)
• Able to utilize data driven problem solving, searching for root cause and addressing issues.
• Knowledge of Intermediate manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, and related measurement methods and techniques
• Experience working with composites materials.
• Experience working with PFMEA & MSA tools and concepts
