LISI Medical in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a Quality Engineer II to drive process capability, control plans, and root-cause analysis across products and processes. You will lead audits, support PPAP, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to reduce defects and variation.
Responsibilities include leading 8D investigations, contributing to APQP, and developing quality metrics while applying SPC methods and analyses.
Yearly Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000
Primary responsibility of a Quality Engineer II is to ensure quality standards are established, achieved and maintained to meet the requirements for the Company’s products and processes. This includes leading cross‑functional efforts to determine process and product capabilities, improving control and inspection plans, driving root cause analysis, implementing statistical methods, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and customer complaints. The Quality Engineer II also serves as a key interface with customers and suppliers to proactively identify and resolve quality risks across the product lifecycle.
No direct supervisory responsibilities. Expected to provide functional guidance to Quality Engineer I and inspection personnel on quality methods, corrective actions, and process standards.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and communicate effectively.
Ability to apply statistical analysis, process capability, and sampling techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; experience with quality tools and data visualization preferred.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
