Job summary

Acutronic Integrated Systems Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer I to support and improve the QMS across manufacturing operations. You will drive quality assurance, lead problem-solving, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to reduce defects and improve process capability.

The role requires a BS in a related field and at least one year of aerospace/engineering experience. IPC/ISO 9001/AS9100 knowledge is preferred; vendor quality and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial/Process Engineering or related field.
• At least one year of aerospace, defense, or engineering industry experience.
• Training in quality assurance and analytics preferred.
• Experience with IPC standards for electronic manufacturing and assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain inspection plans for incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
• Define acceptance criteria aligned with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Support implementation of risk-based controls (FMEA, Control Plans, APQP elements).
• Ensure compliance with QMS requirements and regulatory/customer standards.
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.
