Job summary

Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to help stand up quality systems at a new lithium-ion battery separator plant in Danville, VA. You will influence how processes and controls are built from day one, working with Operations, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain and Production.

Responsibilities include monitoring processes, analyzing data, investigating defects, and leading CAPA efforts. Relocation assistance is provided, with a base salary of $90,000–$110,000 plus 15% bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 3–5 years of quality engineering experience.
• Experience with quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing processes and product quality performance.
• Analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities and trends.
• Investigate defects, deviations, and customer complaints; lead root cause analysis and CAPA.
