Job summary

Tuv is seeking a quality inspector for solar site projects to ensure compliance with IS, ASME, ASTM, EN, API and IEC standards. You will verify material inspection, testing protocols, and document control.

Candidates should be able to articulate punch points during audits, manage daily quality reports (DQR), and coordinate commissioning and pre-commissioning tests on transmission line equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IS, ASME, ASTM, EN, API and IEC standards.
• Knowledge about Material inspection (Visual and performance).
• Knowledge of RFI and their norms (released, NC, Rework).
• Knowledge of testing and acceptance results per quality standards (testing of IDT, HT panel, LT panels, inverter).
• Ability to manage quality documents and record/release DQR daily.
• Brief knowledge of Earthing and protection as per quality standards.
• Ability to provide punch points/comments during inspections/audits.
• Brief knowledge of electrical equipment and testing protocols.
• Brief knowledge of commissioning plant and commissioning protocols.
• Knowledge about TL (Transmission line) and their clearance and tolerance.
• Knowledge about FQP (Field quality plan).
• Knowledge about Routine and pre-commissioning tests.
• Knowledge about Earthing, ERT results per quality standards.
