Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Quality Engineer to partner across functions, drive continuous improvement, and elevate product quality and reliability. You will analyze quality data, lead corrective actions, and support design reviews and process development with a strong focus on process controls and supplier quality.

Ideal candidates bring a manufacturing background, DOE/CP tables familiarity, and hands-on experience with quality tools such as PFMEA, PPAP, and SPC, along with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience as a technician or engineer in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality trends and data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives using root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on process materials tooling and equipment approvals.
• Develop and maintain PPAPs, PFMEAs, capability studies, MSA, and quality records.
• Support design reviews and process development with quality considerations.
• Collaborate with suppliers on PPAPs and nonconforming material actions.
• Provide training on quality tools and methodologies.
