Job summary
Ludlow Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to support quality assurance, customer satisfaction, and process improvement from launch through production.
The role requires hands-on analysis, PPAP submissions, and liaison between customers, suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing to reduce defects and ensure regulatory and internal quality compliance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role preferred.
- Experience with customer-facing quality activities and supplier quality management.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop inspection plans and lead critical characteristic reviews.
- Manage PPAP submissions and drive corrective actions (RCCA, CAPA).
- Support product launches through quality gates and production readiness.
- Analyze quality data, track metrics, and report trends to leadership.

Ludlow Manufacturing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support quality assurance activities, customer satisfaction, process improvement, and new product launches. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing inspection plans, performing critical characteristic reviews, managing PPAP submissions, leading corrective actions, and ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. This position serves as a key liaison between customers, suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing to drive quality performance, reduce defects, and ensure successful product realization from launch through production.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role preferred.
- Experience supporting fabricated metal, welding, machining, assembly, or automotive manufacturing environments.
- Experience with customer-facing quality activities and supplier quality management.
