Job summary

Actalent in Tucson, AZ seeks a Quality Engineer to independently execute and improve QA processes across manufacturing and inspection, applying advanced tools and statistics to ensure QMS compliance and drive product quality and efficiency.

The role leads audits (ISO, AS9100), prepares documentation, closes findings, and conducts root cause investigations with CAPA using 5 Why and Fishbone methods. Permanent onsite position with a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key quality representative for internal, customer, regulatory, and certification audits, ensuring compliance with ISO, AS9100, and other applicable standards.
• Coordinate audit preparation activities, maintain audit-ready documentation, facilitate auditor requests, and drive timely closure of findings and corrective actions.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action efforts arising from internal, customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
• Utilize methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and CAPA to identify systemic issues, implement sustainable solutions, and prevent recurrence.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $82000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
