Job summary

Superior Trim Springfield is seeking a quality engineer to positively impact plant quality. You will develop and implement quality standards and control systems, monitor performance, and inspect materials and processes to meet specifications.

Collaboration with operations and adherence to safety regulations are essential. A successful candidate will have a degree in quality/industrial/mechanical engineering, 2+ years of quality experience, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering preferred.
• ASQ certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or QA.
• Experience coding and using QA software tools and processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills.

Throughout the Gardner family’s ownership of Superior Trim, we have made, and continue to make, significant investments to ensure that Superior Trim has all of the appropriate technologies in-house and available to produce cost-competitive, high-quality interior and exterior trim products for medium/heavy duty trucks and other commercial vehicles that our customers expect.

Superior Trim Springfield is looking to add a quality engineer that is focused on positively impacting plant quality.

Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and implementing quality standards.
• Developing and implementing quality control systems.
• Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
• Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
